The Blog of Charles Daniels

About Me

I’m Charles, and this is my blog. I’m a current undergraduate at University of South Carolina studying Computer Engineering, and I also participate in undergraduate research with the Heterogeneous and Reconfigurable Computing (HeRC) Group. My research interests include high performance, embedded, and distributed computing.

Beyond academia, my interests in computing include UNIX systems administration and automation, open source software, the Free Software Movement, and open source hardware.

I am active in my university’s ACM chapter, as well as the university’s Cybersecurity club. Beyond the university, you’ll usually find me at the Colmbia Open Source South Carolina group, as well as at colasec when I can make it.

This site is a sporadically updated collection of thoughts, idea, and guides relating to these and other topics, mostly in the realm of computer science and computer engineering. This site (or rather the content on this site) is fully open source, and is available for use under CC-BY-SA 4.0 except where otherwise noted.
